JEEP WRANGLER 3.0

JEEP Wrangler used to be dominated by gasoline engines. For the first time, it is equipped with a 3.0 EcoDiesel V6 diesel engine. The original data is 260hp and 60kgm torque output. Combined with the eight-speed TorqueFlite 8HP75 automatic transmission, the perfect gear ratio configuration is more suitable for the low-speed and high-torque performance of the diesel engine.


The owner mentioned that although the powerful torque output of the diesel engine is very suitable for the needs of off-road vehicle players, the troubles of the exhaust system made the best performance of the engine cannot be exerted sometimes.
 
After the discussion, MYS engineers take this model from the ECU system + EGR system + DPF system + AdBlue system as the main tuning program. This vehicle may be the first case in the world to completely solve the exhaust system problems.

The engineers continued to test, discuss, and adjust every day. Finally, we made a major breakthrough! Make sure that all the software tuning parts have reached a stage, and then it is time to deal with the exhaust pipe.


Since the DPF and AdBlue system of Wrangler are integrated in the same exhaust pipe, the exhaust pipe is too long and too thick, which makes disassembly and assembly more difficult. Even the EGR recovery also passes through the same exhaust pipe system, which makes the engineers think for a long time how to deal with.

The power performance increased to 325hp, 76kgm (+65hp, 16kgm). Compared with the results of the original factory, it has improved by 1.76 seconds. What an amazing performance! It can improve by more than 1 second with such weight of the car and such size of the tires.
 

According to the needs of the car owners, MYS tunes the range of maximum torque output wider, and more than 95% of the torque can be provided at 1250~3000rpm. This is more suitable for off-road players, no matter in any creek bed, rocks, mud, or even towing equipment.
