SUZUKI JIMNY 1.5L, one of the most popular models on the market recently, is known as a small off-road vehicle (mini G CAR). The similar lines of the traditional off-road vehicle, masculine and square appearance with round headlights, has a strong retro feeling, subverting the appearance of the previous generation of JIMNY, no wonder it is loved by many players.
JIMNY uses a newly developed 1.5 K15B inline four-cylinder engine with a four-speed automatic transmission system. The stock maximum output data is 102hp and 13kgm, which is a bit unpleasant for players. However, this engine emphasizes the torque of low and medium speeds. The vehicle can cope with the needs of off-road conditions. Simply put, JIMNY can show great advantages when driving on the road that cannot be reached by ordinary vehicles.
Road test under the conditions of the following:
1. Upgraded off-road wheels and tires only
2. Two drivers around 200kg
Stock P-BOX record:
0-60km/h acceleration time is 6.5 seconds.
0-100km/h acceleration time is 17.2 seconds
Many players said that stock JIMNY is lack of performance, especially after upgrading the big tires. We took nearly two days to repeatedly adjust the data of the test vehicle, in order to have a more perfect performance.
After MYS ECU tuning, the power performance upgraded 13hp and 1.2kgm. Max torque outputs to 3600rpm in advance (stock 4000rpm). In other words, the performance in low and middle speed will be better.
Road test under the same conditions.
After MYS ECU Tuning, P-BOX record:
0-60km/h acceleration time is 5.8 seconds.
0-100km/h acceleration time is 14.7 seconds.
During the road test, it is obvious that the reaction between the start and the medium-low speeds is lighter. At the start, slight skidding will occur during acceleration which improved JIMNY is even more powerful. The abundant torque output during outdoor off-roading is an important key to getting out of trouble. Under our setting, which is more in line with the environment of many passionate players using.
