Originally, this Ford Ranger 3.2 TDCi had remap by other tuner. The driver wondered that why the power performance was still weakness, though he had modified lots hardware. Recommended by car fellows, this driver decided to ask MYS for retuning his ranger.
Before tuning, MYS engineers had to check what this ranger modified first. Modified as follows: intercooler, air filter, and complete exhaust (DPF removal).
To solve turbo lag, the trouble of diesel cars, this ranger changed the stock rubber turbine tube to MYS stainless steel boost tube. Make the air flow move fast, solve the thermal expansion of rubber turbine tube.
P-BOX record (hardware modified):
0-60km/h acceleration time is 4.8 seconds.
0-100km/h acceleration time is 11.7 seconds.
Although MYS team had tuned many rangers before, engineers still had to data log for each car different performance and driver's demand.
After MYS ECU Tuning, P-BOX record:
0-60km/h acceleration time is 4.4 seconds.
0-100km/h acceleration time is 10.5 seconds.
Power performance upgraded to 247hp and 58.2kgm.
The main tuning point is the torque output in medium and low speed. The torque below 3000rpm is full. The power after shifting is even more frequent unlike the stock power lag seriously, completely improved the performance.

Way to go. That is what I am saying. The diesel car is right like this! The strong power and re-acceleration obviously sustained are really better than stock. Driving on the highway, I felt that the power boosted to limit speed faster. I realized why so many car fellows will strongly recommend MYS professional team.
