Mr. Su driving BMW F30 320i is our regular customer. He is not the person who loves to go joyriding. He simply hopes that the engine and the gearbox can be more smoothly matched after tuning. Therefore, his driving habits were be the main points of MYS ECU tuning.
BMW N20 Twin Power Turbo, the inline four-cylinder petrol supercharged engine with Steptronic eight gears manumatic gearbox. The stock power performance is 184hp and 27.5kgm.
P-BOX record:
0-60km/h acceleration time is 3.6 seconds.
0-100km/h acceleration time is 8.1 seconds.
Re-acceleration P-BOX record:
70-120km/h re-acceleration time is 6.8 seconds.
80-150km/h re-acceleration time is 12.1 seconds.
In BMW engine N20, the stock setting is conservative. After remapping, the power is almost third-level jump that many players can't wait to release the seal. We read the data of the stock, and the maximum boost pressure was 0.69 bar.
While waiting for the tuning program, BMW 320i installed MYS boost tube to bring the best performance and reduce turbo lag.
After MYS ECU tuning, the torque was more 5.8kgm than stock at 1800~3000 rpm. Lightly stepping and shifting gear down, the re-acceleration became more smoother that meet the driving experience owner's pursued.
After MYS ECU Tuning, P-BOX record:
0-60km/h acceleration time is 2.9 seconds.
0-100km/h acceleration time is 6.2 seconds.
Re-acceleration P-BOX record:
70-120km/h acceleration time is 5.4 seconds.
80-150km/h acceleration time is 9.8 seconds.
It's obviously felt the performance differences under our MYS team set the maximum boost pressure in 0.98 bar.
The power performance upgraded 62hp and 6.5kgm which was almost nearly the performance of stock 335i N54 306hp. It seemed that engine N20 really have potential.
