VOLVO B7R 290 E5
Knowing that MYS could tuning the new VOLVO B7R 290 E5, Tainan LongTzwu Travel Boss Huang arranged two buses to MYS right away.
The vehicles of small horsepower will be powerless in Taiwan harsh roads. VOLVO B7R 290 E5 stock power performance was 290hp and 107kgm.
The driver said its power or fuel consumption all had a very good performance when driving on the roads or on the highways. However, the performance was completely not enough if it encountered the climbs or mountain roads. Because of gear ratio, the torque output at low and medium RPM was poor.
After MYS ECU tuning, power performance upgraded 65hp and 19kgm. Moreover, the torque advanced 200~300 rpm output.
After the road test, the driver Mr. Liu said it's all different!! Originally, the power completely output was around 1500rpm, and now advanced to 1250rpm.

Climbing on the roads of Alishan or Cingjing Farm:
(stock) first or second gear → (tuned) second or third gear, one more gear power upgraded.
(stock) first or second gear → (tuned) second or third gear, one more gear power upgraded.
(stock) 3.4~3.6km/L → (tuned) 3.8~4km/L, saved about 10~11%.
